Special container production refers to the manufacturing process of containers that are designed to meet specific requirements, which are different from standard containers in shape, structure, or function. The following is a detailed introduction:
Material Selection: High – strength steel or aluminum alloy is usually used as the main material to improve the durability and load – bearing capacity of special containers. For refrigerated containers, thermal insulation materials are also required to ensure the stability of the internal temperature.
Production Process:
Stamping: It includes uncoiling, grinding, cutting, and forming. Uncoil the steel coil into a flat plate through the uncoiled, then impact the steel surface with fine steel sand at a certain speed to remove rust spots and increase the paint adhesion. After that, cut the steel plate as required, and form parts by bending, pressing, rolling, stamping, and cutting edges.
Welding: Weld the parts processed in the stamping section to the matching parts such as corner pieces and door hinges. According to different parts, it can be divided into front – end welding, rear – end welding, side – plate welding, top – plate welding, bottom – frame welding, and general assembly.
Painting: Usually, two – layer paint is sprayed inside the container and three – layer paint is sprayed outside. Each layer of paint has strict film – thickness regulations. Before painting, sanding treatment is carried out to ensure that the paint does not fall off within 3 – 5 years.
Finishing: After the container is slightly cooled in the drying room, lay the floor, and apply sealant at the contact parts. Then nail the floor with self – tapping screws. Next, install nameplates, ventilators, door seals, etc., clean up the remaining wood chips and iron chips, install locking rods, stick logos and box numbers, and finally conduct hydraulic and light tests to check the sealing performance.
Customized Production: Special containers are often produced according to customer requirements. Customers can determine the size of the container according to the equipment to be loaded. In addition, they can also choose special structures and configurations, such as hook – loading systems, container insulation, double anti – static floors, various doors and windows, and complete electrical equipment.
Quality Inspection: After production, special containers need to go through strict inspections to ensure safety and reliability. The main inspection items include structural strength, sealing performance, and temperature control effect (for refrigerated containers).
