Beiyu Offshore Container/DNV container is mainly used for the transportation of equipment between fixed or floating facilities and ships. Offshore operations, including oil and gas exploration and production, require reliable and durable transportation solutions that can withstand harsh marine environments. The efficient offshore shipping container is a shipping container specially designed to meet the needs of offshore operations.
Advanced Features for Offshore Shipping
In addition to its robust and durable construction, it also has advanced features that make it ideal for maritime transport. These functions include:
1.Waterproof and dustproof
The highly efficient Offshore DNV Container is designed to be completely waterproof and dustproof, protecting the contents from moisture and other environmental elements. The container features a weatherproof seal around the door to keep water out even in the roughest seas.
2.Customizable options
Shipping containers can be customized to meet the specific needs of offshore operations. The container can be modified to include features such as built-in shelving, lighting and ventilation systems, making it a highly versatile and flexible shipping solution.
3.Security features
Features advanced security features to protect content from theft and destruction. The container features a heavy-duty locking mechanism and reinforced doors to ensure contents remain secure during transport.
Advantages of Offshore Containers
1.Versatility
The Offshore Container is a highly versatile shipping solution that can be used in a wide range of applications. It can be used to transport equipment, tools and supplies to offshore locations and also as a storage container on offshore platforms.
2.Cost-effective
Containers are a cost-effective shipping solution with a low total cost of ownership. Its durable construction and long lifespan means it requires minimal maintenance and replacement, saving you money in the long run.
3.Safe and reliable
Designed for safety and reliability in harsh marine environments. Its sturdy construction and advanced features keep items safe and secure during transport, reducing the risk of accidents and equipment damage.
4.Ease of use
The dnv container is easy to use and can be easily transported by a standard container ship and hoisted by a crane. Its customizable options also allow easy adaptation to specific requirements, reducing the time and effort required to prepare for offshore shipments.
Electrical safety certification is required if there is electrical equipment on the Offshore Container used for service. The materials used must be fireproof, so they should comply with DNV 2.7-2 safety requirements on the basis of DNV 2.7-1 standard.
Beiyu Offshore Container is designed to meet the requirements of high structural strength, anti-dumping, low-temperature use, protrusion, and top protection. When Offshore Containers are used as laboratories, housing, or for special uses, they need to be designed with safety in mind. Offshore Container has been specially designed to ensure safety during its use of electrical appliances and fire protection.
Inspection of Offshore Container
1.Welding Inspection
Welding inspection of Offshore Container, including inspection and non-destructive testing.
Always check the quality of the welding without damaging the welding bead. The entire inspection process runs through the manufacturing process of Offshore Container and is not limited to the final product, in order to adjust the production at any time to ensure welding quality.
2.Lifting Test
In addition to the tests required by the International Convention for the Safety of Containers, Offshore Container also conducts two-point and four-point lifting tests.
The two-point lifting test mainly checks the deformation resistance of Offshore Container in extreme conditions, and the four-point lifting test mainly tests the bearing capacity of Offshore Container.
Neither of the tests allowed for permanent deformation of the Offshore Container during the accelerated lifting of the crane.
3.Drop Test
The main purpose of the drop test is to check the impact of the Offshore Container during lifting and placement to ensure that the cabinet is strong enough to withstand damage from the impact.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR OFFSHORE CONTAINER
1.1 The container described herein is designed for the offshore containers, and is suitable for
the environmental conditions imposed by these modes of transport for the carriage of
general cargo by road, rail and sea (above or below deck).
1.2 All materials used in the construction will be to withstand extremes of temperature range
from -20 ℃ to +60 ℃ without effect on the strength of the basic structure and watertightness.
1.3 Standards and Regulations
The container will satisfy the following requirements and regulations, unless otherwise
mentioned in this specification.
1.3.1 DNV standard for certification No.2.7-1 (offshore containers)2013 , and the design
temperature is -20℃
1.3.2 ISO Container Standards
1.3.3 T.I.R. Certification
All the containers will be certified and complied with “The Customs Convention on the
International Transport of Goods under the cover of T.I.R. Carnets” or “The Customs
Convention on Containers”
1.3.4 C.S.C. Certification
All the containers will be certified and complied with the requirements of the “International
Convention for the Safe Containers”
1.4 Handling
The container will be constructed to be capable of being handled without any permanent
deformation under the following conditions:
and shackles) which are approved and certified by classification society. With the angle of
the sling legs to the vertical from 30 degrees to 45 degrees.
hooks, shackles or twist locks.
angles of 60 deg. To the horizontal plane.
1.5 Transportation
The requirements in this Standard for Certification are based on a number of assumptions
regarding the handing and operation of offshore containers:
1.5.1 They are lifted individually by crane hook attached to top link of lifting set.
1.5.2 They are not lifted by spreaders or using ISO container fittings.
1.5.3 They can be lifted anywhere (worldwide) by any crane with sufficient capacity and
speed.
1.5.4 They are only stacked if they are designed for this.
1.5.5 They are 2 high stacked and secured by vertical and diagonal lashings only onshore or
on offshore installations.
